- KRL (Kereta Rel Listrik)/Commuter Line
The KRL Commuter Line is an electric train service that connects Bogor with Jakarta and its surrounding areas via the Bogor Line, with its main station at Bogor Station. Tickets are very affordable, calculated based on distance traveled and paid for using electronic cards such as the Multi-Trip Card (KMT) or e-money cards.
Participants coming from Jakarta and the surrounding areas can take the KRL Commuter Line to Bogor Station Bogor Station. From Bogor Station, the journey can continue to IPB University Darmaga via public transportation, Biskita, or online ride-hailing services.
- Public transportation ‘Angkot’
Public transportation (angkot) is a traditional mode of transportation that remains the backbone of mobility for Bogor residents, especially for short-to medium-distance trips within the city. Prices are relatively inexpensive and are paid directly in cash to the driver, without an electronic ticketing system. ‘Angkot’ can be flagged down anywhere along the route without having to wait at official stops, providing passengers with a high degree of flexibility.
Participants can board an ‘angkot’ from various locations in the city of Bogor and continue their journey along the route to the IPB University Darmaga campus area.
- Online ride-hiding ‘Ojek Online’
Online ride-hailing ‘Ojek Online’ services are app-based transportation services, such as Gojek and Grab, that allow passengers to conveniently book motorbike or car transportation via their mobile devices. Prices are transparent because they are displayed in the app before booking, so passengers can see the estimated cost in advance.
‘Ojek Online’ can be a practical first choice for traveling directly from the hotel to the conference, especially for participants who are not yet familiar with public transportation routes in Bogor.
- BisKita Trans Pakuan
Biskita Trans Pakuan is a bus rapid transit (BRT) service that supports modern mass transit in the city of Bogor. These buses operate on several corridors connecting key locations such as terminals, train stations, tourist areas, and shopping centers. Passengers can board Biskita buses at designated stops along the route. Tickets are relatively affordable, and the system uses an electronic card payment system.
If participants use Biskita Trans Pakuan and get off at the Bubulak Station, they should continue their journey to IPB University Darmaga using public transportation or ride-hailing services.
